What concentration really is:
We can now recognize this: Concentration is the withdrawal of attention. If attention is withdrawn from something, i.e. the undesirable is blocked out, then the undesirable no longer has an effect on the person. The ability to concentrate is a combination of the human will and a force that comes from the world of thought and is subject to many influences. In the course of life, this power can diminish, making it more difficult for people to concentrate and protect themselves from undesirable influences. The more this power of concentration diminishes in a person, the more their entire hormonal balance and therefore their health changes. If this person regains the power of concentration, his hormonal balance adapts to the higher power again and his health grows.
It seems as if people regain their lost abilities as soon as they practise their ability to concentrate. It seems that practicing people get back not only their lost abilities, but also their lost powers as soon as they make progress in their training.
A story makes it easier for us to recognize how concentration arises and how it manifests itself.
A concertgoer slowly enters the hall and looks for a suitable seat. The visitor hears the background noise in the room and looks around for orientation. He looks for a place where it is not so loud and where he has a clear view of the stage. The visitor's perception is directed outwards so that he can hear a lot until he has sufficiently oriented himself. Until they know where they want to sit and where they have a good view of the stage. Once he has found his seat, he turns around again to check whether the seat meets his needs. He hears some people talking quietly and also hears the footsteps of other arriving visitors. The concertgoer hears a lot of noises because he is open. He hears the conversation of two people in the row in front of him and the rustling of a snack bag behind him. He hears the coming visitors walking down the center aisle and he hears the closing of the cab doors outside the concert hall. This visitor is really open, because hardly a sound escapes him and his attention is
It is also noticeable that people become healed as soon as they increase their ability to concentrate. When people withdraw their attention from unwanted sources of information, a power grows in them that makes them see and produces healing powers in them. They can then also block out pain and increase or decrease all kinds of bodily functions. Such a state of high concentration obviously leads to more changes in people than the general public is aware of. It seems as if these people have no trouble focusing for a long time and keeping their attention on something. They can see, sense and feel exactly what they focus their attention on. Their perception can increase tenfold. Highly focused people can show certain symptoms that can affect their whole body and their whole being and fundamentally change them. These symptoms are described throughout the world as symptoms of incipient enlightenment. They are symptoms of spiritual purification that also affect their state of consciousness. Affected people can understand many circumstances and connections in this world without effort and they can remain permanently aware of them. An inner wisdom seems to bubble out of these people. This altered state of consciousness has to do with trance and has already been adequately described by important researchers.
almost completely focused all around him. The visitor has opened himself up as far as he can. Well, the concert begins and he is impressed by a violin that is played so sensitively. The concertgoer searches among the violinists for the one violinist who can play so sensitively. He draws his attention away from all other sources of noise until he has found the one violinist. He continues to concentrate and only hears this one violinist. So he no longer hears the child with the snack bag, no longer hears the murmur of the astonished visitors and he no longer hears the traffic outside on the street. He doesn't even hear the request to make way, as visitors are still coming past him and want to take their place. The concertgoer is highly concentrated and only hears this one violinist.

The state of consciousness and its powers
Trance has been around for many thousands of years, more precisely since humans have existed. Hypnosis, on the other hand, was first recognized by science in 1770. The father of modern hypnosis is the American psychiatrist, psychologist and psychotherapist Milton H. Erickson. Erickson had a significant influence on modern hypnosis and hypnotherapy. Erickson died in 1980 at the age of 79 in Phoenix, Arizona, but his approach remains a benchmark for modern psychotherapy. Studies show that hypnosis is a reduced state of consciousness in which people can be treated and healed.
Trance states are always expanded states of consciousness that are used by mystics and shamans for healing purposes. In deep trance states, the laws of nature can be transcended and future events can be seen.
The Austrian trance researcher and dean Prof. Dr. Giselher Guttmann argues for a clear differentiation between trance and hypnosis. He bases his appeal on the fact that there is no significant change in electrical activity in the cerebral cortex during hypnosis. In trance states, these significant changes in the cerebral cortex are clearly visible.
We can now better imagine how important different trance states are for people. These trance states are natural, healing, increase sensitivity, concentration, heighten human consciousness and bring enlightenment closer. It can be observed how people become more sensitive as soon as they slip into a trance. Their perceptions also increase in proportion to how deep they are in a trance. The trance unleashes people and also helps them to get closer to God.
But the question also arises as to how people could stray so far from the truth and become ill. If we investigate what makes concentration possible, we find a power in people's minds.  This power can grow through practice, enabling people to hold their thoughts and their direction. They can also use this power to block out the noise. It is therefore a power that enables concentration. In the counter-example, people who do not have this power would be depressed and disoriented. Observations show that this assumption is correct.
